Question 1

What is SCOJO New York?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO New York is a premium eyewear brand based in New York City, specializing in reading glasses, blue light blocking glasses, and sun readers. SCOJO combines fashion-forward design with genuine optical quality, offering frames that are both stylish and functional for everyday wear.

Question 2

What makes SCOJO New York different from other reading glasses brands?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO New York treats reading glasses as a fashion accessory rather than a medical necessity. Each frame is designed with the same attention to style as premium fashion eyewear, available in a wide range of colors, patterns, and silhouettes that go beyond standard drugstore options.

Question 3

What types of glasses does SCOJO New York sell?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO New York sells reading glasses, blue light blocking glasses, and sun readers. Reading glasses are available in a range of magnification strengths. Blue light glasses are designed to reduce eye strain from screen use and are available with or without magnification. Sun readers combine tinted lenses with reading magnification.

Question 4

How can I tell which reading power I need?

Accepted Answer

Take a quick eye test using the SCOJO Power Chart at scojo.com/power-chart/ to identify which reading power is right for you.

Question 5

What do the frame measurement numbers mean?

Accepted Answer

The measurements listed are standard optical measurements, as you would find on prescription eyewear. All sizes are measured in millimeters and include lens width, bridge width, and temple arm length. See the SCOJO sizing chart at scojo.com/sizing-chart/ for a full explanation.

Question 6

How do SCOJO glasses fit different face shapes?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO New York offers styles suited to all face shapes. Round and oval faces suit angular or rectangular frames. Square or heart-shaped faces suit rounder or softer silhouettes. Each product page includes frame measurements in millimeters so you can compare against frames you already own.

Question 7

Does SCOJO offer reading glasses for both men and women?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SCOJO New York offers reading glasses for men, women, and unisex styles. Collections range from classic and understated to bold, colorful, and fashion-forward to suit every personal style.

Question 8

Are SCOJO sun readers polarized?

Accepted Answer

Polarization varies by model. Please see the individual product description to verify whether a specific sun reader style includes polarized lenses.

Question 9

Can I put my prescription lenses in SCOJO New York reading glasses?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO New York readers are ready to wear as-is, and removing the lenses would void the warranty. SCOJO does not recommend placing prescription lenses in their readers.

Question 10

What are SCOJO blue light glasses?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO blue light glasses feature lenses with a blue light filtering coating designed to reduce eye strain from prolonged screen use. They are available with clear lenses for general screen use, or combined with reading magnification for those who need both.

Question 11

How should I clean my SCOJO glasses?

Accepted Answer

Use the microfiber cleaning cloth included with your SCOJO glasses to wipe lenses gently. For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of lens cleaning spray or mild dish soap with lukewarm water. Avoid paper towels or clothing fabrics, which can scratch lenses. Store glasses in the provided case when not in use.

Question 12

How can I tell if my order has shipped?

Accepted Answer

Look out for a shipping confirmation email, which includes your tracking number and full details of your order.

Question 13

Why did I not receive my order confirmation?

Accepted Answer

Spam filters sometimes identify order confirmation emails as spam, so check your spam inbox first. Also verify the email address on your scojo.com profile. If everything appears correct, contact SCOJO New York at info@scojo.com or call 800-817-4318.

Question 14

Does SCOJO ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

At this time SCOJO New York does not ship internationally. Check back as SCOJO is actively seeking opportunities to expand global shipping.

Question 15

How do I enter a promo code or gift card?

Accepted Answer

In your Shopping Cart, find the box labeled 'Promo Codes & Gift Cards'. Click the down arrow, enter your code in the provided field, and apply. Your discount will appear in the order total.

Question 16

Can I return or exchange frames that do not fit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Frames can be returned for exchange, refund, or credit, as long as they are returned within 30 days of the purchase date. See the return instructions on scojo.com for full details.

Question 17

How long is the SCOJO New York warranty?

Accepted Answer

SCOJO New York guarantees a high quality product and will repair or replace products with factory defects at no charge for 12 months from the purchase date. The warranty does not cover frames broken through personal wear and tear or abuse, or products purchased at special sale or discounted prices. Any warranty is void if factory lenses are removed or replaced. Discontinued frames may be exchanged for frames of a similar value.
